Screenshots show the Chinese interface. The workstation can be switched to English in Settings, and the button names here match the English interface.

Start, pause and switch work orders

Once a schedule is set, the operation loads automatically; press Start to begin work. This page covers start, standby, abort, the material area button and switching work orders.

Applies to: Workstation stable release (UI 1.6.59)Updated 2026-10-28

In short

  1. Once a schedule is set, the machine loads the operation automatically, but it does not start by itself. Press Start.
  2. To step away for a moment, press Standby. When you come back, press Resume.
  3. To end this session, press Abort, then confirm.

The operation loads automatically after scheduling

After your team leader schedules an operation to your station on the platform, the workstation loads it automatically. You do not need to practice it in Guidance first. While loading, the screen shows "Loading the scheduled operation…".

  • If it shows "No schedule for this station yet", nothing has been scheduled for this station on the platform. Ask your team leader.
  • Once loaded, it does not start by itself. You need to press Start.

Start, standby, abort

ButtonWhat it doesWhen it cannot be pressed
StartStarts work. The button shows "Starting…" and "Preparing model N%", and recognition begins once readyNo operation loaded, already producing, or the platform has paused the schedule (the button changes to "Schedule paused")
StandbyFor stepping away for a moment (restroom, refilling parts). The yellow light turns on and the work order is not ended. In standby, "Start" changes to Resume; press it when you come backWhen not producing
AbortEnds this session. It asks "Abort the current work order? Data not yet uploaded will be uploaded once the network is back"; it ends only after you confirmWhen not producing, or in standby

When production ends (you press Abort or the material area button), any alarm dialogs or camera-blocked notices still on the screen close as well. The alarm records stay in the alarm list and on the Records page.

Chimes and voice announcements

If a technician has turned on chimes in "Settings":

  • A chime sounds when production starts, when it is aborted, when you enter standby, and each time a step is done.
  • If "Round complete chime" is on, another chime sounds when a piece is finished (Shift stats goes up by 1).
  • If "Step voice announcement" is on, each time a new step begins the machine says "Step N, step name" (in English when the UI is in English). When both chime and voice are on, the chime plays first, then the voice. If a step has no voice, only the chime plays.

To find these switches, see Adjust common settings.

Start/stop button in the material area

Some stations have a latching start/stop button in the material area (it stays down once pressed):

  • Press it down (on) = start production; press it again so it pops up (off) = abort production.
  • The screen shows "Production started by the material area button" or "Production aborted by the material area button".
  • The button does nothing during Guidance practice.

The machine only reacts to a change of the button

If the button is already down when the machine powers on, production does not start by itself. Release it and press it again.

Switch work orders

When a station has several work orders scheduled, there is a Switch button next to the work order number in the header.

  1. If you press Switch while producing, it says "The current work order is in production". First press Go stop production to stop the current one, then switch.
  2. After switching, the new work order is not started yet. Press Start again.
