Read the step timeline

The step timeline at the top right of the home screen tells you which step you are on, which step was skipped, and how long each step took. This page explains the colors, timing and piece counting.

Applies to: Workstation stable release (UI 1.6.59)Updated 2026-10-28

In short

  1. Yellow with "Detecting": carry on as usual. Green with a check mark: the step is done.
  2. Red with "Skipped": press Do it now. Red with "Not passed": press Redo step.
  3. When all steps are done, the machine counts one piece automatically.

Timing

  • On the right of each step is the number of seconds it took. Steps not yet done show "— / standard N s" (the standard time).
  • A step with corrections has an extra orange line "Correction N s" below it. The number keeps counting while you correct.
  • There are two numbers to the right of the "Step timeline" title:
DisplayMeaning
Blue "Round total N s"Total seconds for this piece since step 1, including corrections and time waiting on alarms. It stops when the piece is finished; the next piece starts from 0
Orange "Piece correction N s"Total seconds spent correcting this piece. Not shown if there were no corrections

Piece counting

When all steps of a piece are done, the machine counts one piece automatically and the header progress goes up by 1. In "Shift stats", inspected count = good count + product defects.

For operations with per-piece inspection, a piece the machine could not see clearly is not counted, and you are asked to place it again.
