Check position, orientation and insertion
Judges the distance, relative position and orientation between parts, plus the fully-inserted / pressed-into-place check (Length ratio). Pixel thresholds are hard to estimate, so they are usually tuned on site while watching the workstation view.

Center distance constraint
What it judges: the distance between the box centers of two parts is within the given pixel range.
Typical uses: place A next to B; keep enough space between two parts.
How to configure: object, reference object; minimum / maximum distance (px). The lower limit can be 0.
Relative position constraint
What it judges: the part is to the left of / right of / above / below / upper left of / upper right of / inside the reference object.
Typical uses: place A to the left of B; apply the label above the product.
How to configure: object, reference object, position, tolerance (px).
Orientation constraint
What it judges: the part's angle is within the given range (horizontal / vertical).
Typical uses: the part must lie horizontally; the label must be applied vertically.
How to configure:
- Object;
- Reference direction: horizontal axis / vertical axis, or another class;
- Angle range (°).
Requires a rotated-box model
A regular box model cannot judge angles.
Length ratio (fully-inserted / pressed-into-place check)
What it judges: after the assembled part is placed on the inspection spot and the hand moves away, it measures "long side of the measured object ÷ long side of the reference object". If the ratio is within the range, it passes.
For example, the length ratio of the exposed part of the refill to the pen tip: the deeper the insertion, the smaller the ratio.
Typical uses: refill fully inserted; part pressed into place; plug pushed all the way in.
How to configure:
- Measured object: the part to measure (such as the exposed refill).
- Reference object: a part of fixed size (such as the pen tip), used for scaling so the result is not affected by camera distance.
- Inspection zone (optional).
- Lower / upper ratio limit.
- Still time, sample frames: how long the part must be steady before measuring, and how many frames the median is taken from.
- 超出范围报警(未插紧) (Alarm when out of range (not fully inserted)): when checked, an abnormal event is reported if the ratio is outside the range.
How to set the ratio
Do not guess. Calibrate on the workstation:
- On the workstation, go to 采集 (Capture) › 标定 (Calibrate) and select this step of this operation.
- Place several good and bad pieces; the workstation measures the ratio and recommends lower and upper limits.
- After you confirm, they are written back to the platform draft automatically.
- Submit for review again and release.
The step is not counted as production during calibration. For details, see Calibrate the insertion check.
Notes
- A reference object of fixed size is required.
- With a regular box model, the part must be placed horizontally or vertically.
- Usually combined with "Hand left zone" using 全部满足 (All of), so the measurement is taken after the hand is away. See scenario 3 in Typical scenarios.
