Check whether a part is present

Use this group when you only care whether a part is in the frame or in a zone. The editor has just three cards - Object present, Object absent and Object left zone - and whether you select a zone decides the scope of the check.

Applies to: Admin console and workstation stable release (2026-10-27)Updated 2026-10-28

Use this group when you only care whether a part is in the frame or in a zone. The editor has just three cards in this group, and whether you select a zone decides the scope of the check.

The former "物体在区域内 (Object in zone)", "物体进入区域 (Object entered zone)", "物体出现 (Object appeared)", "排他存在 (Exclusive presence)" and "物体消失 (Object disappeared)" have all been merged into these three cards; see Old and new names for the mapping.

What it judges:

  • Zone selected: right now, the center of the part's box is inside a detection zone drawn in ④ ROI 区域 (ROI zone), for the full "hold time". It does not require the part to have moved in from outside the zone; a part left in the zone from the previous round also counts.
  • No zone selected: right now, the part is visible anywhere in the frame, for the full "hold time". It does not require the part to have been absent before.

Typical uses:

  • Zone selected: part placed at the assembly position; product placed on the inspection table; workpiece pushed into the fixture; workpiece arriving in position on a line.
  • No zone selected: a fallback when no other type fits.

How to configure:

  • Target classes: you can select several, with 全部看到 (All visible) / 任一看到 (Any visible).
  • ROI zone (optional): draw it on tab ④ first.
  • 仅认新目标 (New targets only) (when a zone is selected): when checked, only parts that newly enter the frame count. Parts left in the zone from the previous round and the previous piece on a line that has not fully moved out are not taken as this piece.
  • 排除其他类别 (Exclude other classes) (only shown when no zone is selected): when checked, only this class of part may be in the frame; if any other class appears, it does not pass. Hands do not count. Only one target class is allowed; if several are selected, checking this keeps only the first.

Notes:

  • For "place it somewhere" steps, prefer "Object present + select a zone". It is the most common and most reliable pattern.
  • If parts from the previous round stay in the zone after they are done (for example, finished products are not removed right away), check 仅认新目标 (New targets only); otherwise the next round passes as soon as it starts.

Without a zone, it also passes if the part was already there

Even if the worker does nothing and the part is simply already in the frame, it passes. Avoid it where possible.

When "Exclude other classes" is used in a finishing step, "Covers earlier parts when done" must be checked

"Exclude other classes" is used for things like confirming the station is clear before work starts, or confirming only the outer box remains in the frame after sealing. When it is used in finishing steps such as closing a box or fitting a cover, 完成时会遮挡前置零件 (Covers earlier parts when done) must be checked. Exclusivity within a zone is not supported yet.

Object absent

What it judges:

  • Zone selected: right now, this part is not in the zone, for the full "hold time" (default 500 ms).
  • No zone selected: right now, this part is not visible anywhere in the frame, for the full "hold time".
  • Neither requires the part to have appeared before: if it was never there, the condition is also satisfied.

Typical uses:

  • Zone selected: no scrap may be left on the inspection table; no foreign object at the assembly position.
  • No zone selected: the packaging has been removed and taken out of the frame; the peeled protective film has been thrown away.

How to configure:

  • Target classes: you can select several, with 全部看不到 (All not visible) / 任一看不到 (Any not visible).
  • ROI zone (optional).

Notes:

  • Being briefly blocked by a hand also counts as not visible, so do not set the hold time too short.
  • Without a zone, if the part is still somewhere else in the frame (for example, taken off and put at the edge of the table), it does not count.

To judge "taken away", use "Object left zone"

"Object absent" passes immediately when the zone was empty to begin with. To judge "it was there before and is gone now", use "Object left zone" below.

Object left zone

What it judges: in this round the part was first seen in the zone, and then it is no longer seen; that counts as taken away.

Typical uses: taking a part off a tray; moving a finished product off the station; a workpiece on a conveyor leaving the station.

How to configure:

  • Target classes: you can select several, with 全部离开区域 (All left zone) / 任一离开区域 (Any left zone).
  • ROI zone: must be selected; if not, the checklist reports an error.
  • 必须在区域外看到该物体 (Must be seen outside the zone first) (optional).

Notes:

  • The part must have been seen in the zone first before leaving can be judged. If the part never entered the zone in this round, it does not pass.
  • When the part is often blocked by a hand, check 必须在区域外看到该物体 (Must be seen outside the zone first); otherwise the moment it is blocked is taken as it having left.

When the part will be taken out of the frame, do not check "Must be seen outside the zone first"

For processes such as moving it away, boxing it or dropping it into a bin, checking it means leaving is never detected. In that case, increase the "hold time" to filter out brief occlusion.
