Check whether the count is enough
Is the number enough - how many are in the frame, how many are in each container, or how many times the hand really did the action. Three ways to count map to three types, and picking the wrong one is the most common mistake.
Use this group when the number has to be enough (place 4 screws, 6 per plate, really drive 3 times). In the platform's detection type window, all three types are under the "Counting" group.
Pick the right way to count first
There are three ways to count, and picking the wrong one is the most common mistake:
| Requirement | Use |
|---|---|
| N items visible in the frame at the same time | Object count |
| Several containers, each needs N items | Per-container class count |
| An action actually done N times (N screws driven) | Action count |
Object count
What it judges: the number of this part visible in the frame at the same time meets the requirement.
Typical uses: place 4 screws; attach 2 labels; snap 6 clips.
How to configure:
- Target class;
- For the quantity, pick 恰好 (Exactly) / 至少 (At least) / 至多 (At most) / 区间 (Range).
Object count counts across the whole frame
Parts of the same class in other trays are counted too. To limit the scope, draw an inference zone or use Per-container class count instead.
It only looks at "how many", not whether they were actually driven. To prove they were driven, combine it with Action count; see scenario 2 in Typical scenarios.
Per-container class count
What it judges: there are several containers (plates, slots) in the frame, and the parts in each container are counted and checked separately.
Typical uses: 6 white dumplings and 2 black dumplings per plate; 4 screws and 4 nuts per slot.
How to configure:
- Parent container class: plate / slot.
- Child classes: click + 子类 (+ Child class) to add them one by one, and set a quantity requirement for each (exact, or min~max).
- Pass mode:
- 所有容器都满足才通过(严格) (Pass only when every container meets it (strict));
- 任一容器满足即通过 (Pass when any container meets it);
- 全画面各子类总数满足即通过 (Pass when totals across the frame are met).
Note: more accurate than whole-frame counting, because parts of the same class elsewhere are not counted. It can be placed in a combined condition.
Action count
What it judges: counts how many times the action was really done. At each position, the hand arriving, dwelling (driving) and leaving counts as 1 time.
Typical uses: drive 4 screws; tighten 3 points.
How to configure:
- Action: drive screw.
- Position source: for example screw; each screw in the frame is one position.
- Count: 恰好 (Exactly) / 至少 (At least) / 至多 (At most) / 区间 (Range).
- Evidence: 停留 + 旋转 (Dwell + rotation) (use this for manual screwdrivers). Dwell defaults to 800 ms, cumulative rotation to 270°, and reach distance to 1.5 × palm.
- 同一位置只记一次 (Count each position once): prevents padding the count by turning one screw three times (recommended).
- 允许返工重新计 (Recount on rework): when a screw is redriven during rework, the total is not added up twice.
Note:
- Only manual screwdrivers are supported at the moment.
- The workstation has a built-in hand recognition model, so you do not need to add a "hand" class.
- "All screws are present and all were driven" needs a combination: Object count + Action count, 全部满足 (All of). See scenario 2 in Typical scenarios.
